The males of Fleischmann's glass frog (Hyalinobatrachium fleischmanni) guard their eggs as they develop into tadpoles capable of swimming away on their own. As their name suggests, they tend to be transparant or transluscent, which allows light to pass through the leaves they rest on during the day without casting a shaddow, thus hiding them from predators.
