We have observed several Terciopelos (Bothrops apser) exhibiting aquatic behavior. They are adept swimmers and as this images shows, can use the surface tension of water to float. this individual was about 1 meter long.
The Speckled Blunt-headed Tree Snake (Iamantodes inornatus) offers some great poses for photography. A light tap on the nose will make them pull back in this pose (we probably shouldn't be giving away our secrets. . .).
